Lisa's Story
Life
For the past 30 years, I have served our country as a civilian Federal Employee. I currently work as a Senior Budget Analyst at the Justice Department. I started my Federal service in 1972 at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology as a Medical Secretary/Transcriptionist. I left the late 70's to work as a Legislative Assistant at the Dept. of Energy, leaving goverment service in 1980 to work for a Presidential Appointee at the U.S. Synthetic Fuels Corportion. 1992 joined the Department of Transportion's (DOT) Office of Pipeline Safety as a Management and Program Analyst. I left DOT in 2003.
I am an advid tennis player, and have been playing in the Montgomery County League (MCTA) for the past 8 or so years. In addition, I am a certified U.S. Tennis Association Official, which I hope to continue when I retire from Federal Service.
I have been married to Mike Kokoszka (a 1970 graduate from Churchill) for the past 20 years and we have a wonderful, beautiful daughter, Anna, who is currently attending Towson University.
