Lisa's Story
Life
So much has happened! I'm married with two children (a boy and a girl). I've moved a lot, and currently live in North Carolina (but, I work out of Atlanta). I love Atlanta, and would like to move back there. I graduated from college with a degree in elementary education...which I am currently NOT using (LOL). I travel a lot. Both my husband and myself work for airlines, which helps with our love of travel. I still love to read and play pool. My husband and I love to go riding on our Harley. By the way, yes, my husband has long hair! I guess I never grew out of that phase (LOL). More than anything, we love spending time with our kids.
I often wonder about some of my high-school friends, whom I've lost touch with. Some of those that I can name....from Worthington H.S.: Sara Fox-Lowe, Beth H., Rachel P., Maria D., Scott H. from Shelby County: Melissa, Aaron S., Robyn S., Stephen R., Melody S., Willis T. I hope that all of you are doing well. From Shively.........well, enough said, you know who you are.
Well, I've given you the current synopsis. Here's a briefing of the past. I left Louisville and moved to Cincinnati to attend Miami University. There, I also had a long relationship/engagement to a rock guitarist who co-owns his own record co...Expand for more
mpany. We're still good friends. He's a wonderful person, we just weren't met to be together forever. Kinda funny, though, we both ended up in Atlanta after a period of time.
Next came, well........Mr. Shively. I'd known him since high school, and always had a crush on him (not knowing that he felt the same). We were engaged until he broke my heart with lies and such. Oh, well........for a year after, I mended my heart and had a blast! There is a lot to be said for being single and just dating. I also hung out with a good friend (Holly) then. What a great year! But, my career wasn't going where I wanted, and I was sick of Cincinnati winters, so....I packed up and moved to Atlanta. I started everything new. New city, new job, new friends (and some old ones). But, right before I moved, I met Richard. We went on one date, and I knew he was different. Even though we had only been on a few dates before I moved, we ended up making it work in the long run. He finally got me to walk down the aisle (years later).
My husband has been through cancer, and I have been hospitalized twice out of the blue with life-threatening issues. We're still together, so I must have married the right one!
