Lisa's Story
After graduating from High School I moved to Texas, and I got married at 18.I have one daughter, Angelina.now 23.
We moved around quite a bit with my husband. going from Texas, Louisiana,to Germany,back to Florida. That is when I got my divorce, at 26 years old. I had a long relationship after that which lasted 5 years, with a love that I will never forget.better to have loved, than never loved at all.
While living in Louisiana, I decided to attend a private beauty school. After finishing, I got my first internship while living in Germany.That was a great experience and difficult, the language barrier,but I didn't give up. Once I moved back to Florida, I applied for my license here. I started at a small franchise and then went on to work at Private Salons, learning all aspects of the business, I even attended the Dermalogica Institute, downtown Orlando. 3 years ago, I had the pleasure of becoming a grandmother for the first time. I am so proud of Donevan.Being a youn grandmother has kept me young, playing all the time, and reading to him.
I am currently working at Elite Spa in East Orlando, have been for the past 11 years.This career has been good to me all these years as a single mother, supporting herself and a daughter.
I love shopping,traveling by car, movies, cooking, having dinner with my daughter,going to beach, LOL,in the past I sported a nice tan. My famliy owns a Tanning Manufacturing Company in Cocoa. I am working on that tan currently. I plan to open a salon in the near future. Just need a little more time. economy isn't helping. lol. well that is my story.
