Lisa's Story

Life My Husband Myles and I met each other while playing on a company volleyball team. There was something very special about him. He was very sweet and kind and extremly funny and he also cheered the loudest for me at our volleyball games. So it was very easy to fall in love with him. We were in San Francisco over New Years in 1994/1995 when on mid-span of the Golden Gate Bridge he got down on one knee, pulled out a ring and asked me to marry him. And the rest as they say is history. Myles is originally from Concord Massachusetts. It's just outside of Boston. He's been in Tucson for almost 25 years. We have made our home in Tucson. We've been happily married for 14 years. We have two beautiful daughters, 11 year old Hannah and 8 year old Lauren. Myl...Expand for more
es and I both work for our local newspaper. He is the Asst. Sports Editor for the Arizona Daily Star. I am a part-time Finance bookkeeper. Right now our lives are wrapped up in our two girls. Hannah is in the sixth grade. That is middle school now. She LOVES it!. She gets a locker, I remember that was very exciting for me as well This fall has been fast pitch softball. She has moved up to a different age league. Lauren is in the third grade. Lauren is unsure if she wants to play a sport. Right now she is happy to be a cheerleader for her sisters team. Both girls are doing outstanding in school. They are in the G.A.T.E program which is for gifted and talented students. Right now I am so happy to be working part-time and being a wife and mother.
