Lisa's Story

Life Over the last year (2005), I've been settling into my newest, greatest job as mother to the beautiful Miss Katerina. In late 2003, after a trip to Italy to compete at the World Professional Showdance Championships, my husband and I decided to retire from competitive professional ballroom dancing, get married and start a family. en quite a transition, but I must say that I love my newest job so much. I'm still working for the State as a Human Resources Manager and I still teach ballroom dancing a couple hours a week. In addition, my husband (who is a full-time dance pro) and I just opened our own ballroom dance studio in Sacramento, Ultimate DanceSport in early 2006.
