Lisa's Story

Life Hey,all! High school...so long ago yet hardly seems possible that 20 yrs have come and gone. I miss the school ski trips (especially w/ Lori Morrill and GiGi)and the retreats up to Malo. Was it our senior year that Mr. Hire couldn't figure out how to drive the bus up the mountain and we all got out and walked....in the snow....in the dark...and John (I believe it was) drove it up then figured out Mr. Hire was trying to start out in 3rd gear instead of...(duh?) first? THAT was a hoot! So... I've two beautiful, intelligent, talented girls. Jessi 15.5 yrs and will be a junior this fall. Erika 14.5 yrs and will be a freshmen. Believe it or not, MY girls are great teenagers! Imagine that. Although, at times, we do seem to have a lapse in our teenage judgement. Life's little learning experiences, I suppose. I, myself, am in my 18th yr w/ the Dept. of Interior Pay Ops Branch. I write poetry, sing, dance and enjoy a myriad of sports (s...Expand for more
pectator and competitor). I play softball more months out of the year than not and with that comes, at least, 1 or 2 broken body parts each year. Currently, (as of 4/8)my right hand is casted for a broken thumb. I do believe my mom should have named me Grace(ful)instead. At this writing, I'm single (and quite sure that that status will apply to all future writings as well. Unless, of course, my knight in shining armour appears at my doorstep on his steed of white! I think that's not likely to happen in the near future. Whaddaya think?). Life is good, though. I've my girls, my two dogs, Kiah (blue heeler), Gus (bloodhound),my cat Rajah (mutt kitty), my friends, my family, a loving home, a great job, a great car, good health (other than the yearly sports injuries) and my faith in God. Life just doesn't get any better than that! I wish each and every one of you well and look forward to meeting with you at the reunion. Take care, Lisa
