Lisa's Story

After graduation, I still didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up...I went to Calhoun for awhile taking secretarial classes. I worked at Mutual Savings Life Insurance Company for 5 years before deciding I wanted to be a nurse. I graduated from Calhoun in 1985 with an Associates Degree in Nursing. ral years ago. I am still living in Decatur, working full-time as a registered nurse/administrator at an outpatient surgery center where I have been for nearly 20 years. My children are now 21, 17, 14 and 12. They are very active in school, sports and church activies, and keep me running! My 17 year old son plays football for Decatur High School...I never thought I would be yelling "Go Raiders!"
