Lisa's Story
Well, where do I begin?? I decided to "take a year off of school" before going to college......yeah right!! That turned into 6 years! I worked a couple of full time jobs, met my ex, had 3 kids in 3 years and tried to go to Owens for a nursing degree. When I became pregnant with our third child, the school thing became a memory very quickly. All this by the time I was 24.
I left my ex, met my current husband online in a local chat room (funny, huh?) and we got married in 2002 and had my fourth son. Yes, I said 4 boys!!
We are currently living in Genoa, OH, just bought a house last July. My husband works full time for Ed Schmidt as a mechanic on their...Expand for more
Mack trucks. I am currently hanging out at home playing "taxi Mom" to my kids who are 12, 11, 10 and 5. Our life consists of friends, football, baseball, wrestling and track. Next year it may be different stuff, so who knows.
Back in 2004 I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma, aka as skin cancer. It was a grim outlook for a long time and I really kept that part secret with friends and kids. But now I am in remission!!!
