Lisa's Story
Short version of what I have been up to since high school: I worked full time in office environment jobs and stayed in the Sacramento area until 1998 and then I moved south to the Merced area. At which time, I decided to change careers and became a truck driver (yes, really). I stayed in the Merced area and worked as a truck driver (locally) until 2003. I then decided to move to Idaho to be closer to my family...Expand for more

I continued to work as a truck driver (long-haul) until 2005, at which time I again decided to change careers; main reasons being that I had hurt my back (minor back surgery) and I was pregnant with my first child. I was a stay-at-home mom for the first year and a half of my son's life. Since then I have worked part-time and attended college full-time working towards a degree in Information Systems Analysis.
