Lisa's Story
Life
We have finally made it back to Colorado! Only took me nearly 20 years! What have I done in the meantime?
Gah. Where to start? Went to college in western MD. Had any number of entry-level urgh! jobs. Tossed it all away and ran off to crew on a sailboat, and ended up in the Keys teaching sailing, which I did for nearly 8 years. I love CO, but the sailing is not the same!
Landed back in MD, and then, just when I thought I had used up all my love lottery tickets, I met the man that I would marry. After 4 months. We have been married for 6 years, have two beeeyou-tiful boys, as well as his lovely daughter, and I am a stay-at-home mom. No one as more surprised by that than me, let me tell you. But when we moved here, I had to give up my massage...Expand for more
practice anyway, so it made more sense to stay at home as I would not have the time to start a new practice with two little children. It's okay, though, as I love being with my kids. I miss my clients, but the time with the kids is well worth it.
Could not be happier with life these days, unless that life included the winning powerball numbers! Cheers to all!
School
Doherty High....what can one say? I loved it and was pissed that I got yanked half way across the country to go to some school in the middle of a cornfield (I am not kidding) in MD. They were the best and worst years of my life.
Northern High. Well, anywhere that you start as a senior is going to suck, and it did. Not my style, scene, or interest. I made it. That is all I can say.
