Lisa's Story
Life
My life, at least the last 18 or so years seem very surreal. I walked away from a fast paced, materialistic world and moved, quite accidently, to a small island in the carribean part of Mexico. Cozumel has been my home since 1990 and without giving up too much, I have made a wonderful life here for myself. I have a daughter named Bianca. I home school, founded and volunteer at The Cozumel Humane Society, play squash every day, beach it as much as possible and live life to the fullest on a daily basis. ntrol freak that wasn't easy) and let him do his will through me. I have the most fun on a daily basis than anyone I have ever met and I think the secret to that is that I believe life is too serious to be taken seriously. Anyone who remembers me from high school can attest to that. I visit the states every summer at least for a month at a time and I get my family down here as much as I can. Bianca has 10 cousins and they are all very close. My oldest nephew just graduated from college which makes me feel very old. Other than that I don't feel much older than I did when I left El Paso in 1979. The attitiude helps.
