Lisa's Story
I married the love of my life, Kevin Updike, in 1989, not long after graduating from JMU with a music degree. Later, I taught school for several years. After adopting our first child(a son) in 1998, I stayed home to be a full time mom. Later, we adopted another little boy and then our daughter. We thought...Expand for more
we were done, but surprise, in 2012 I gave birth to our 4th child, a daughter. After several years of homeschooling, I returned to the workplace. This time as the Director of Children's Ministries at Covenant Presbyterian Church, a job which I very much enjoy! I'd love to hear from other MVHS '83 grads!
