Lisa's Story
hi everyone from 1968! that was quite a year, wasn't it, with both bobby kennedy and martin luther king buying it.. ..the whole counter-culture thing was starting, lucky us. sex, drugs and rock n roll really had us going there for awhile!
i live in kansas, near kansas city, mo. i am very happily married to my husband david, for 26 good years. we are still in love and feel very blessed. we have a jack russell terrier named suzie, and two cocatiels named prissy and kiwi.
i am a christian, my politics are fairly conservative, but i'm not a fanatic. i love to cook and to eat,but i'm still only 115 lbs. my favorite mu...Expand for more
sic to hear live is classical and opera, but for every day listening i usually go country, with a little rock for a change.
my memories of my classmates are a little hazy, i'm afraid. i was very close to only one or two people, whom i still know and see occasionally. but try me, i might remember you!
i saw some blogs from people remembering mr. thomas peace, and i enjoyed reading those - as i remember him very clearly! he was a nice guy, if a bit intense.
if anyone sees this and who also went to farmington junior high, that was a trip with all those old teachers who hated kids! i'd be interested in talking to you!
