Lisa's Story
Life
Hard to believe it's been 20+ years since we've graduated from high school. I'm alive and well and still living in Santa Cruz. I'm a Mortgage Consultant with Blue Adobe Mortgage in Santa Cruz. If anyone is looking for a real estate loan or knows anyone who is - please drop me a note! I've been happily married since 1992 to another local Santa Cruzan, Dean Mazzei (Harbor High class of '86). He is Karla Hansen's cousin, and we actually found that we first met at a birthday party of Karla's when I was 8 and he was 7. It was fate! We enjoy fixing up our old Victorian on the west side of town. We also purchased a couple of rental properties near the University of Oregon campus in Eugene, so that keeps us busy besides work. We don't have any kids, just a couple of cats. I'd love to hear from any classmates out there.

tarted as a loan processor for a local community bank and was there for 10 years, moving my way up from processor to underwriter and eventually was the underwriting manager when the company got bought out in 2003. I got a great severance package, which gave me the opportunity to get out of the office and become a loan officer. I would never go back, it was hard adjusting to a commission-based income at first, but I have built a solid client list and am always meeting great new people who need to borrow money. The job never gets old, because every person's situation is different and the real estate market is always changing. If anyone is in need of financing, or knows someone who is, please contact me. I'm very honest and hardworking, and from my processing background, I can explain the process from start to finish to put my clients at ease during what otherwise can be a very stressful experience.
