Lisa's Story
Here are some things I know:
There is no such thing as typical.
Expectations are retarded.
Complaining is incredibly addictive... and so is joy.
Pushing past your comfort zone is the only way to live.
Here are the bare bones of me:
I am living in New England with my husband & four children. David (the husband) is a therapist by day & father/partner by night. Daniel is my oldest, 11, and he wants to be a marine biologist. Keegan is 8 and he is my little ball of passion. Liam is 4 and some days wishes he were still the baby, while quietly resenting that he is not the oldest. Baby Beatrice, the youngest and only girl is 10 months old and as happy and wide eyed as they come.

years ago from Central NY in search of a Waldorf education for our kids & grad school for the husband. Close to 3 years post graduation now and the husband is working in his field (putting in his dues at a group clinic), the kids are now homeschooled- working on our second year.
We love the outdoors, supporting our local farmer, getting dirty, cooking up new & exciting food, finding new ways to conserve energy & save our planet, working with wool, making music & creating art. Oh, & farmers are our rock stars! More on that later...
As for me, I'm just trying to hold it all together. There might be a little more to it, but we'll save that for another day. Hope you are all living well! Keep it simple!
