Lisa's Story
Life
I've lived in Seattle since 1979. I have just completed my PhD studies for nursing and health care informatics, at the University of Washington. I work part time as Psychiatric Mental Health ARNP at the Navos Inpatient Services.
We are remodeling our home in Seattle's Central District, a house built in 1903 at the top of the original "skid road." Trees from our hill were "skid" down the hill to waterfront where they were milled and shipped away. We found lots of beautiful old growth fir behind the crumbling plaster.
