Lisa's Story
Got married 5 years to the day from our graduation. I married my friend, Tim Tower from Somersworth, NH.
Right after we got married, we headed for Mesa, AZ so he could work on a Congressional Campaign for a family friend.
When our friend lost the election in Nov. 1992, we returned to NH so he could work at his family's business again.
We lived on the NH Seacoast for about 11 years, collecting multi-family homes to rent out.
The winter of 2002 - 2003 was brutal, It snowed 8 months that year, so we moved back to Mesa, AZ. We'd loved it there and always wanted to go back - now was the time - only this time we had our 3 children with us.
In '03 we moved to Mesa, and enjoyed every minute of it for 7 years until the market caused us to move. My husband worked the same job making 1/4 of what he had been making, my job closed its doors, and we lost our house. Fortunately, his parents followed the grandki...Expand for more
ds and moved to AZ too in 2004, but way up in the high elevation mountains of Northeast AZ in the high desert. We moved up to the mountains and shared their 9 bdrm house having the downstairs all to ourselves, but it was so rural, almost off-grid, that we had to leave. Besides, I moved 3000 miles to escape the cold & snow so I hated it.
It's now early 2012, my husband is going to school to change careers and we're moving back to the Mesa/Phoenix area in just a few months. Our plan is to stay for 4 years until I'm done homeschooling the last of our 3 kids. We can't wait.
Other than that - we're active in our church, we've always homeschooled. Our kids are in 12th, 10th, and 8th grades this year. We own and run a Monavie/RVL business online and enjoy the complete health turnaround our product line has given us. I'm hoping to make it the 3000 miles for the reunion - the 20th looked like a lot of fun!
