Lisa's Story
Life
I am currently living in sunny Arizona and have been since 1996. In spite of what you may have heard about AZ having a dry heat, it's still a HOT heat.
I have a twelve year old son who is amazing and too smart for his own good. How can I have a twelve year old when I still feel like I'm twenty-five? Now that I am single, he has become the dating police.
I was a makeup artist for a long time but after volunteering at my sons school, I decided to go back to school and become a teacher. I can honestly say the I feel sorry for most of our teachers.
School
I often wonder who the friends of my youth...Expand for more
have become. I can remember my friends at Staten Island Academy and Hopatcong High School well. I hope some of them will look me up and let me know how they are.
College
I miss the freedom of college. It was a time of growth socially and academically. I miss the women and men I lived with who were like family at times. When we're young we swear to stay in touch but unfortunately, life gets in the way. I do miss thursday nights.
Workplace
I have become something I swore I would never be when I grew up. That's right. A teacher. Scary but true. I teach sixth grade as well as special education students.
