Lisa's Story
I'm the same old fun loving Anacostia Indian in the band - twin(2) from the 80's living currently in the Upper Marlboro area of Maryland. I married a fellow Anacostian (Rodney O. Smith, Sr.) on August 29, 1987. We had our first son, Rodney O. Smith, II on October 31, 1988 (yes a Halloween baby - my treat rather than a trick). Our second son, Tevin D. Smith was born on October 9, 1994 and our last but not least son was born on September 10, 1997. Yep - 3 boys for me and I left the girls to twin (1)-Lena who had 3. I worked at Johnson & Higgins/ Marsh (Insurance Brokerage Firm in DC) for 20...Expand for more
years and now currently work for Willis of Maryland (another Insurance Brokerage Firm in MD). As always, life is what we make it!!
I always wanted to be a ON MY OWN when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a INTERESTING idea. As it turns out, they were RIGHT.
To blow off steam or relax, I ENJOY READING BOOKS OR HANGING OUT WITH MY SISTERS.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have friendly, caring, and happy people around to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My current age is 43. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely wrong.
