Lisa's Story

Life I'm married and living in Richmond, after being a farmer in Romeo for several years. I've run into a lot of us that graduated from Stevenson at Utica Trim, where I am still employed (or waiting to retire, depending on how you look at it). Note to Mickey and Ed....so sorry Patty passed away..... I still frequent Shelby, Utica and Sterling Heights areas. I have guardianship of my 11 yr old granddaughter, Marissa and my son in getting married this August. I had shock therapy a few years ago because of a nervous breakdown, so I have trouble putting names with faces, or visa versa. Don't hesitate to come up to me if you see me, I haven't changed much. I don't remember how to put my picture on the computer (one of the many other things I've managed to forget since ECT), so it'd be great if someone would be patient enough to walk me through it again. Hey, whoever stole my class ring off Larry Jordan's shifter when he had his mustang...give it back now, huh? Gary and I regretted missing the last reunion...things happened, of course. I miss and wish you all well.....those closest to me, Annie Chap, Liz Mayes, Deb Schneider; of course, Bill Prass, Steve Shaberly, Larry Jordan, Harold White, Griggers crew (what a blast from the past), Cathy Cooper (73) Jim Caruso (73) I have ran into several times over the past years...his wife died a few years ago. I wish I would have gotten to know more people in school. I feel like "Gee, where was I when this all was going on". Stoney Creek, Dodge Park and walkouts are a thing of the past; however, I wouldn't have changed them for the world. Sure wish others would contact me and let me know what was happening, and other information for me to remember...Expand for more
. Isn't that a trip? Get in touch with me soon. Looking forward to retiring soon in FL near Winterhaven to help my parents ...hope to hear from you soon......those that have any advice who live there, please let me know the ins and outs, y'know? My children will stay in Michigan until their children have grown. Hopefully, this was our last winter.......again, hope to hear from you. I always wanted to be a traveler when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. My favorite relax mode is a bubblebath, good book, no interruptions, and a glass of wine! If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a home, a car, and a phone to be able to deal with the day-to-day. I never really had any heroes! The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Liz Mayes/Daughtermann, because I really miss her friendship!. My obsessions are clothes, jewelry, and travel...to warm places! If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the bathroom and add on a basement. My dream home would be definitely somewhere else. I've learned that even after raising them one way, the next generation comes along and NOW they want to give advice!!! lol! If I won $100 million, I'd give 97,000,000 of it to charities, then spend the rest on investments, a new home and live on the interest. I lived in a barracks, which is pretty similar...you really have to LIKE your roommate! My current age is 53. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be MIDDLE-AGED. I was so completely Awed by my past thinking. RETIRING with a good pension, etc. My best friend would tell you I'm GREAT, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as QUIET.
