Lisa's Story
Life
During my senior year of high school I became engaged to a man in Southern California and after graduation I moved there to be with him. After 2 years, sadly we broke up. We were just too young and immature. I then pursued a career in typesetting and graphic arts. 2 years later I ended up working for Phil Blazer head of ISRAEL TODAY doing typesetting and graphic artwork. My good friend fixed me up on a blind date with her boyfriend's friend. We hit it off and began dating. anceled by my former employer without letting me know. UCLA pretty much left me for dead with absolutley no tests to back up their beliefs. They told me that if I did survive I would probably get leukemia or lung cancer. Children were defintitely out of the question. I ended up at USC with a wonderful doctor. I've been in remission ever since and that was 1985. I married my blind date and this January we will celebrate 20 years of marriage. We also had boy/girl twins in 1989.
