Lisa's Story
Went wild.... Moved to Jupiter, FL and got married (for sure a rebound move) Divoced and moved back home to Pensacola. Enjoyed the single life again. Eventually ran into long time best friend all through high school LEWIS GUY. He talked me into moving past the friend stage and we had 16 1/2 years together. I have 2 beautiful daughters 22 and 15. We own a home and 6acres in Purvis, MS along with 2retail stores, storage building, and 7 fireworks stores. I became a widow at the age of 39 when I lost Lewis in February 2008.
The girls and I still live in Purvis, MS and we LOVE it here. I am downsizing our businesses.. I spent so much time working I missed tons of time with Lewis and the girls. Not a mistake I will ever make again. Re-arranging my priorities. My oldest Patricia Marie (my hero) is a junior at William Carey University majoring in Education with a minor in Physical Ed (she wants to coach basketball and fastpitch softball). r it.. My youngest Katelyn Jean is a freshman at Purvis High School, and has her sites set on Mississippi State or Louisana State to double major in Equine Nutrition and a Equine Vet. She recently quit high school softball, tennis, and track to go back to the Rodeo Team (barrel racing, poles, goat tying, and roping) of couse stayed on the basketball team.
I am a huge supporter of our church, community, and especially our high school sports.
My entire life has revolved around my girls and I don't regret one second of that. But the nest is shrinking and it's about time for me to find out just what I enjoy. Fun, and relaxation is on my agenda....
One thing I know for sure after the loss I've endured..... it's to live life to the fullest while truely loving the each of the blessing granted to us today... Tomm may never come.
