Lisa's Story

Life According to my ardent ghost writer (not my ardent self-love, followed by my less fanciful commentary): "After high school, Lisa received a B.F.A. in Painting at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, where her precocious talent, biting criticism, and fanatic work ethic earned the praise, respect, and fear of her professors and fellow students. She is now pursuing a promising art career in New York with the love and support of her handome, intelligent, and unconventional fiance/muse." note- I ditched painting in my senior year for photography, had two shows in NYC. t my high school life (post-traumatic stress syndrome I suppose). But some questions still stand out in my mind about some incongruous aspects of the school- like why did the library contain books on necromancy and atheistic existentialism? College Graduated the Rhode Island School of Design as a Painting major, and for that I recieved a beautifully hand calligraphied piece of paper.... and its invaluable paradoxicalness - that my almost 4 years of self-education and hyper-exhaustion is officially recognized as the successful completion an ambiguous curriculum so rigorously enforced that anyone to get through it is considered to be one of the best taught, and most talented artists in the country. (actually, arrogance was the ONLY thing consistently taught). Sounds funny? I am laughing too. But I loved every minute of it. Go Nads!
