Lisa (Elisabeth)'s Story

Life Wow. Where do I begin? I went to a private school about 9th grade. Teenage angst and parents thinking a christian school was the way to go. This is where I met my husband. He didn't go there, but his brother was a teacher and there ya have it. I graduated a year early (1978) and went to BC3, graduating from the Practical Nursing program. Married in September 1979, and working for a doctor's office first, then Sunnyview Home after that. My first daughter, Jessica, was born June 1980, second daughter, Courtney, in July 1982. At that point I became a stay-at-home mother, adding son, Nicholas in Sept. 1983, daughters Ashleigh (Nov. 1986), Savannah (Dec.1988), Lacey (Dec.1989), and son Dylan (Jan.1993). Separated in 2000, not quite divorced yet. I went back to school 2 years ago and I am now a massage therapist. My oldest daughter is now married and trying to get me a grandchild. :) I live next door to where I grew up and life is always interesting with my houseful, although only 4 are technically left at home. E-Mail me, people! I often wonder about YOU! Sometimes I see Nadine Ianotti, and I ran into Wally Cypher a coupla years ago, and Tim Burns once in a blue moon, but I would LOVE to hear what is new and exciting with everyone else! School OK, I am such a dork. I had crushes on Jerry Tack...Expand for more
ett, Jeff Hoffman, and God knows who else. LOL I remember fun times with Lori, Andrea, Amy Markus, and tons of other people. ARGHHHH all those days in chorus and doing concerts. Evelyn Callender was a riot, and who would think that I would be helping her with musicals and concerts and Madrigal dinners a gazillion years later because of MY kids???? I was just telling my kids the other day how I remember getting in trouble in Math class for "forgetting" my homework 3 days in a row and being threatened with the dreaded paddle (too bad it's nearly extinct these days....I know my own kids need threatened like that sometimes! LOL). And how Mrs. Brown always argued with me about my name, and one time she flicked me on the head and I swear I couldn't stop laughing. I remember trying out for 8th grade cheerleading and being AWFUL at it. To this day I am still pretty non-athletic, but I am a Steelers and Penguins freak anyway. It's fun when my kids tell me stories about teachers who are STILL there teaching, and I get to remember funny things. I really wish I had chosen to stay at Knoch after 9th grade. I know my life path would have probably changed, but there were so many things I missed out on, and so many people I wished I had been able to create more memories with. Knoch was and still is a great school.
