Lisa's Story

Life Married, Mother of three girls plus four step-sons. Life is full of all the Blessings that can come my way. I fill my days making memories with my husband, children and grandchildren and document each event with photo's, Grandmother-5 grandchildren. Husson College, Pledged ETE Sorority Spring of 1978 Ft Jackson, SC-Army Basic 1977-See photo album for details 1998-2009-I worked for a well known facility for seven years as an Accounting Assistant. 2009-The company I worked for, due to the market downturn, my position was eliminated. And I was offered a severance that would take me into June 2009. What a blessing this has been thus far. I applied for four positions, I took 40 hours and I posted my resume for each position I felt led to. I was offered a great postion at an elegant hotel in Brewer after 6 days. I have been at that position four days and I was able to use my photopgrahy skills already. We are creating photo's for their website. This has been such a wonderful journey and I am thankful for Gods grace and mercy, that is new every morning. God has shown m...Expand for more
e through this that he is working all things for my good. That position lasted long enough to be able to decided to go back to school. Now I am full time student and very pleased with the new direction my life is going. I will be graduating from Husson University in 2010. My schooling is going very well. I am enjoying learning how to build websites and getting 100's on my homework. My average right now, thankyou Lord, is 99.24%. I am truly blessed! The joy I feel now comes from the Lord who has truly filled my life with blessings. God is good, good is God! Update 7/30/10 I am now graduated from Husson University and work for a Energy Recovery Company in Accounts Receivable. Update 7/10/10 Today I am looking forward to continuing college, majoring in journalism and photography. I hope to find funding for a four year degree. My daughter Jessie will be getting married at the end of July 2011 and we are enjoying our house for the first time, empty nesters again. It's been a number of years since we have had our house to ourselves. I am thanking God for that.
