Lisa's Story
After graduation, I moved around a great deal, finally settling in Hermosa Beach, California, from 1982-1990. There I worked as a legal secretary and attended college at night. In 1990, I returned to Crawfordsville to finish my BA in Law and Society at Purdue University. I married in 1991 and graduated from Purdue in 1992. My husband and I owned and operated Cafe 127 in Crawfordsville for the first few years of our marriage. In 1993, our son Colin was born. In 1996, we moved to Tucson, Arizona, and lived there for five years. I worked for the Prosecutors Office as a supervisor in the Drug Enforcement Unit.
While in Tucson, I earned by AA degree in paralegal studies.
In 2002, we moved to Redondo Beach, California. In 2003, I divorced. I currently work as a paralegal for the United States Postal Service in Long Beach, California.
I enjoy jogging on the beach, bike riding, reading, and writing.
