Lisa Chua:  

I am living in Houston with my husband and three youngest children. We have been here for the last six years. While trying to survive the humidity, we have been very blessed to live in a wonderful community full of opportunities and close friends and family. The last year has brought about many changes in our lives. Our oldest Kami currently working on her PhD in political science, eloped to Hailey, Idaho with her husband Christopher. The pictures are definitely worth a thousand words! They have also recently announced they are expecting their first baby! We are thrilled and only wish they were closer to us! Brandt is in his second year of medical school and also just wed this Christmas at a historic home in Birmingham, AL to an absolute Angel Mae! They are just getting settled, he is studying and she is working as a cardiac ICU nurse. There is always an awkward pause when talking about my children, we lost a little girl due to a heart condition when she was two weeks and she is buried in a little country cementary close to where I was born. I usually say I have six children and leave it at that and don't explain unless questioned. Closer to home we are preparing for Cody's impending graduation on June 7th. I am so looking forward to everyone together under one roof for a few nights. Cody's graduation is a major achievement as he battled leukemia and very rare complications for five years.
