Hello fellow c/o '83ers! This site is great! My how quickly time flies! I still live in Portland. I work at Self Enhancement, Inc. (SEI) doing Community and Public Relations. I have two boys Austin Hodges-14 y.o. and Joshua Hodges-11 1/2 y.o. (and yes, their Dad is Darrell "smoothness" Hodges! - he's a great dad!) Anyway, still here in Portland. Never married (at least not yet!) Can't wait until the reunion! Email me anytime. Peace, classmates!

Greetings fellow Demos! My how time has flown. It's PAST time to update my life story!
Well, I'm still here in Portland. Still working at Self Enhancement, Inc. (SEI) albeit not in Community Relations/PR anymore. I'm super busy now as Assistant to the President.
My sons, Austin and Joshua Hodges are now all grown up and handsome as they could be! Austin is 22 years old, and plays college basketball at Portland Bible College. This year he was named Pacific Christian Athletic Conference Player of the Year and was selected 1st Team All-American for the National Athletic Christian Conference Association. Yes I'm really proud of him! My youngest son, Joshua is 19 (just a couple of months shy of 20) and is a true computer geek (he built his own computer!) back in Portland now - finishing his core classes at PCC Cascade, working part time at SEI in the afterschool program, and working on a series of video shorts. He's an extremely creative guy with a good eye - he's also an amazing writer. Yeah, I'm really proud of him too! They both think, of course, that they know all there is to know in life, so they've "bumped their heads" more than a few times, and at times have dug themselves into some crazy situations. But I love that they never give up. And no matter what, they know I won't give up on them either.
As for me, life has had its share of incredible highs and lows. Watching my sons both graduate and go to college has given me a lot of joy. My job is amazing - I couldn't ask for a better place to work. I belong to a phenomenal church (Northeast Community Fellowship Foursquare Church), I sing on our praise and worship team, and I help facilitate a small women's group there. So there's lots of good stuff going on in my life. But, on the other side, in the past 2 1/2 years both my parents passed away and I'm still trying to recover from that (if I ever will). But I have a strong faith and I know I'll see them both again! RIP Mama and Daddy...and No, I'm still not married (not yet anyway).
Anyway, overall I feel blessed beyond measure. Life is good.
