Lisa's Story
Life
As of Fall 2004, I am living in Galveston and still working for a travel agency doing group travel. I am attending University of Houston Clear Lake, majoring in Elementary Education. My family includes my other half, Dwayne, my 15 year old step-daughter Dlayna, and our 2 year old son, Dwyane Jr. Dlayna just joined our family permantely this fall when she decided to go to high school here. 's 2 now. He is all boy and more, I am just thankful we haven't been in for stitches or a broken bone yet. Dwayne Sr. and I have just celebrated 5 years together. He builds houses, specifically beach houses on the West End of Galveston Island.
I have lived in Galveston permantely now since August 1992. The sand got between my toes and I just couldn't leave. The only thing I really miss about Mt. Pleasant is my family. I am grateful for growing up in a small town, but I just couldn't stay there.
