Lisa's Story

Life I'm currently living in Kent Washington with my family and I have two children. I have lived at my current home for the last 11 years and lived in Renton or Kent area for the last 26 years. I enjoy my job, along with the opporunities it brings me and I have been in the banking industry for the last 29 years. I keep busy with my kids and enjoy attending Seahawks, Storm & UW Games, Sounders, and even Mariner games. I love to go camping and going to the beach for a relaxing time. My daugther has attended two years of College at Highline Community College and is currently working full time as a hostess at a four star restuarant, she loves children. My son graduated from Kentwood High School this year and he played competive soccer, basketball and working part time and looking for full time work. They were both very active in school sports, activities and in outside clubs. I enjoy spending time with them. I'm looking forward to traveling soon, once the kids have moved out. d with Peoples Bank, then it merged with US Bank, and I worked with them for a total of 17 1/2 years before moving on. I needed a change in companies, so went to Interwest Bank soon after joining them they merged with Pacific Northwest Bank. Where I worked from August 1998 to just resently to May 2004, at which time Wells Fargo purchased them. I currently persued a new career opportunity with Banner Bank Seattle Corporate Banking Team. I have been since May 2004 and enjoy the new challenge that my job brings me. It is hard to believe that I've been doing this type of work for over 29 years now, but it has been a great career path for me and I love meeting new people and keeping intouch with the many people I've worked with over the years. It is amazing how the banking industry revolves in a circle path, sooner or later you end up working with people you did years ago and it is always a pleasure running into old friends. I have joined the Greater Seattle Chamber, so if any of you have please look me up I would love to see you again and talk to you.
