Lisa's Story
Life
After high school I stayed in Plantation. I continued pursuing a career as a singer and released a record in 1988 that was played in local clubs and on Power 96. I met my husband of nearly 14 years, Ed Jones, while attending night classes at BCC in 1991 and got married in 1992. I gained an eight year old step daughter when we married. However,we lost her tragically in December, 2001 days after her 19th birthday in a car accident on the Florida Turnpike. endall, who is eight. We are expecting our third, another boy, in August of this year (2004). I now live in a small town (with one red light) in north central Florida, Umatilla, in a home on five acres complete with horses, goats and our loving bloodhounds. I have recently given up office work to be a stay at home mom again. I stayed home with all my children for at least the first year. I still sing with a top forty group, E-Band, in the Orlando and Mount Dora area and plan to continue after the birth of our third child.
