Lisa's Story
I've moved around quite a bit. We left DeSoto, Texas in 1984 and moved to Jupiter, Florida. I lived there until February 1988 when we moved to LaGrange, Georgia. After graduation in June 1990 we left Georgia and moved to Sanger, Texas. I lived there for a year, then we moved to Hayward, California in 1991. I met my future husband there in 1993. We've been married since 1995. We have two boys: Jacob was born in 1997 and Austin was born in 2002. We lived in various parts of the Bay Area until 2001 when we moved to Iowa to find a better life and a safer place to raise our children. We ended up in a little town out in the country with a population that hovers around 500. After we moved to Iowa, I was a stay at home mom, until my youngest started kindergarten in fall 2007. est co-ops in the state. I run the scales, buy grain, sell feed, anything to do with the computers, pretty much all the inside jobs. I don't load or dump trucks or load feed. I'm also a leader in our local Cub Scouts. My husband is our Cubmaster, our youngest is a Wolf Cub and our oldest, as a Boy Scout, is a Den Chief. Both of my boys are also involved in karate. As of 8/09, my oldest is a high purple belt and my youngest is a high green belt. The youngest is in Awana. My oldest takes guitar lessons and is in Youth Group at the church. Basically what this means is that we never have any free time and our lives revolve around whatever the kids are doing! I would like to talk to anyone from DeSoto, Jupiter or LaGrange.
