Lisa's Story
I Love God! Became saved in 87, been married since 1999, have twin step daughters, 2 grandchildren. I am not so introverted anymore, don't play sports so much but may pursue frisbee golf with my dad and maybe my husband will join us. Sometimes I write letters to my friends, go on trips, read books, puzzles, and I am quite the "Foodie" ! Play Galaga sometimes on my replica Arcade that I purchased at Nebraska furniture mart! 😁🤣 my mother passed 4 years ago, rest of family is fine so far. Haven't been to any Highschool reunions but I didn't even go to Prom back in the day neither. I have a 3yr. Old boxer, (black and white) he is really a great dog to have! I kept the slips of paper from my COE class that described me a nice, shy, kinda pretty, good Athlete! Very quiet! 😁 my not from my french teacher, some Art, and grade cards, yearbooks, and maybe few other things but what I remember most is , I couldn't wait to graduate! And crushes, English teacher calling me a brownnoser in front of everyone, another English teacher saying I would never make it to college if I didn't learn congressional phrases ( hope I am saying that right) and Art teacher using a pencil to scribble all over my Art work to demonstrate what he wanted me to do, a touchdown in my PE class after I stated "girls, you just watch me, I am going to get that football from them boys (they were ball hogs...Expand for more
!) And they won't catch me, I am going to make a touchdown!" I Sure did!! And I was afraid to let anybody know whom my brothers were, until my youngest brother got his jaw broken by a punk who was always looking for any reason to beat up someone, their was a trail of blood all the way home, the same punk also took a spark plug wrench to someone, my brother was falsely accused of ended war ball by crying to my parents and the punk came up behind him and kicked him with his waffle stomper boots!! I was called in the office one day and given a warning to not be like my older brother. (And I totally was my own person, introvert) my brother had problems with Mr. Hyatt and especially Mrs. Baker! He ended up dropping out and got his GED later. My favorite teacher was probably Mrs. Pate (my French teacher) and my sociology teacher (I made 100 % on my essays) I remember some other girls and I were voted off Baskeball team because we missed practice during Thanksgiving break. (Which I didn't know we had practice) later they wanted me back but I was mad and got my feelings hurt, do I didn't, besides the coach threw to many tantrums anyway, Coach Coleman, threw his body up against the lockers and basketball at lockers yelling, "I want Defense! Defense, Defense!!! Well, looks like I can't share much of anything positive about my highschool days, my apologies!! Have a blessed day!!!
