Lisa's Story
Life
I did not actually graduate from Kimball. I grew up in Royal Oak but moved to Troy the summer before 9th grade and went to THS until I moved to Gainesville, Florida in 1978. Talk about a culture shock for a 16 year old! I graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) in 1984 and got married in late 1985 to a man who grew up in the N. Woodward area but whom I met in Gainesville. We still live in Gainesville and have a son who is 18. He is a great young man and brings much joy to our lives. sition with a minor in french at Florida State University. Living in a college town is great and with the exception of the late summer heat and humidity, I really like living in a southern climate. I still miss Michigan, but I do visit for a few weeks each year, mostly up north, as my siblings still live there. I am an avid college football fan, especially the Gators and a lot of my free time is spent outdoors hiking, camping and bicycling, in Florida as well as in North Carolina and Michigan.
Well enough details about me. I hope this finds everyone well and happy. I'd really like to hear from some old Royal Oak and Troy friends!
