I have been living in Toronto since 1972. I am a social worker and graduated with my masters degree in 1980. I am the Head of Social Work at Adventure Place, a treatment centre for young children with special needs. I also work part time at Kids Help Phone which is a national distress line for children.
I was married for 17 years and have two step daughters. I am divorced now and live with my two cats.

I moved from Toronto to Lachine to look after my two sisters. I have been here since 2011 and am still trying to adjust to the significant change in my world. I am retired now. I moved here with three cats from Toronto and all three died in the first year and a half after my arrival. I still miss Toronto a lot. It is difficult to transition from living in the centre of a large city to living in the suburbs of Montreal. I would love to connect with some of my old classmates but I was told most of them moved to Ontario. I wish I had known that when I still lived in Toronto.
