Life
Born Long Beach, CA, 1927. Lived in Alberta, Canada '31-'37. Back to CA, Bakersfield, Hawthorne gram., Emerson Jun Hi, one yr at Bakersfield Hi and on to Richmond & RUHS, '42. April, '45, shipped out in Merchant Marine, SF home port. Late '47, left the sea and up to Oroville, CA, worked in saw mill, went to college in Chico. Then to Alaska (drilling for oil at Point Barrow), Korean war got me, '50. Enlisted USAF. Commissioned '53 as 2/Lt. Aircrew member (nav), RB-26, RB-36, B-52, Travis and Mather AFB. Port Angeles, WA, pilot trng, license & buy airplane, '94-95. Eglin AFB, FL area, '96-present. Flying, maintaining the airplane, traveling & keeping up the place.
