Lissa's Story
I guess the biggest surprise to everyone including myself, is the fact that I never married. I was engaged twice but then changed my mind. I think it was a good decision. I still haven't found the right one. I date occasionally and spend a lot of time with my friends. Once a month I get together with a group of friends from Banks. We call ourselves the YaYas (as in the movie, YaYa Sisterhood). I also get together with friends from Woodlawn once a month at Village Tavern in Birmingham. We have a great time together catching up and recalling old times. Both groups are always looking for more of our old friends to join us.
My biggest regret is not that I haven't married, but that I never had children. I do have 2 nephews that I lov...Expand for more
e dearly and spoil every chance I get. Justin is 22 and Tanner is 12. My only children currently are my 3 cats. They are also spoiled.
I've had several jobs but have spent most of my time in communications. I currently manage national accounts in Central Alabama for AT&T Mobility. I have been with AT&T for the past 11 years.
I moved to Pell City, Alabama from Birmingham about 3 or 4 years ago. I like the peace and quiet and slower pace in Pell City. My office is still in Birmingham and I am in town several times a week. The rest of the time I am traveling central Alabama.
Life is good. I still have my health. Although, my memory and everything else don't seem to work as well as they use to. I am sure my old friends can relate.
