Liz's Story
Hi Everyone!
I was married one year after high school to Tom Lindzy. We were married for 27 yrs but are now divorced. In the years just out of school, Tom and I both worked full time and partied, went out dancing, visited family and friends, and spent a lot of time out doors.
In 1972, Anna Noel Lindzy was born on Christmas Day. She is the light of my life. She is married and lives in Montgomery, AL, with her husband, Josh. They have no children. :-(
During my time in SB I was not very ambitious in the career department, but worked both full time and part time doing clerical work. I was very involved with my daughter and her activities. I also enjoyed tennis, golf and playing volleyball. (Not so much now....aching joints.....you know). I also enjoyed keeping a beautiful home and garden, and spending good times with friends. Travel was then and still is something i truly LOVE.
I have made the opportunity to visit: Hawaii, Jamaica, Greece, and just last May, Ireland.
I am currently in Tarpon Springs FL where I love the heat and sun! I live simply in a mobile home on 3/4 acre of property. Busy always with maintenance! Love to garden, kayak, bicycle, explore, watch the wildlife, both human and ...Expand for more
other.
I am currently taking classes at my local St. Petersburg College of Tarpon Springs. I began my college career in 2000 when I was living in Bloomington. I LOVE BLOOMINGTON IN! ! ! ! I took classes there on the main campus with the kiddies. One of the great experiences of my life! I took all kinds of fun classes: Criminal Justice, Psych, Afro Amer. studies, Philos, Tap Dancing, Tennis, Bowling! Yes you can get one credit of P.E. for the dancing and sports! I am now working on getting just 3 Math credits to get my Associates Degree from IU. Now taking remedial Algebra. Rough~ Most my classes I do pretty well. The brain still works! Don't remember what I had for breakfast, but.....
Had to move to FL. Could no longer take the winters. Wish I could afford to spend summers in SW Michigan, on an IN lake, or in Bloomington. Best of both worlds!
So here I am living, as I said very simply. No big retirement to fall back on because of my lack of career ambition....oh, well. So I drive a 1994 pick-up truck and get by by the skin of my teeth!
There is a Clay High School Reunion in the works here in Tarpon Springs FL March 25,26,27. See site on here for information. Y'all come now, HEAR?
