Liz's Story
After leaving NYU and my profession as a social scientist, to get married and move to Los Angeles (as I have indicated in a former version of my profile), I worked for a decade and a half helping to run one of my husband's family businesses. I have now returned to my science training and work as a life sciences linguist and technical writer/consultant. I am very proud to report that my daughter and her husband both earned Ph.D.'s in molecular biology from Berkeley recently and are now researchers at Duke University. Although I miss the NY-NJ metropolitan area, life in Southern California has been good to me.

n 2005. Anyone who knew Diana will remember her as the magnificent human being that she was. Never an unkind word to say to or about anyone, a brilliant mind, a warm and loving nature, Diana was a beautiful person, inside and out. She was and remains my best friend, someone to whom anyone could turn at any time and know that they would be welcomed, supported, and cheered. Our class, our school, Middletown, and this generation lost one of our finest representatives in Diana. Like my mother, she is my ideal, my hero and I hope she will never be forgotten.
I am not planning on renewing my classmates membership as of February 2013, but every one of you is warmly welcomed to friend me on facebook via my page id: #!/liz.lyons.94. Love to keep in touch with all my MTHS classmates.
