Liz's Story

Life Left Syracuse in 1983, moved to Denver and stayed there for 9 years. During that time I got married, had a daughter (Sara now 19) had a wonderful job, left said job, joined the Navy, moved to Va Beach, divorced husbad, got out of Navy, moved to NJ, married husbad # 2, moved to to SC, divorced husband # 2, moved to Charlotte NC, left Charlotte (ALONE) and moved back to NY..Trumansburg to be exact!!! And...thats about it!!! School Started in Minoa Elementary, (and other elementary schools in Ithaca, Denver, and Las Vegas), then on to Pine Grove (and Lake Jr High in Denver), then on to Liverpool High School wher I graduated in 3 years in 1983. lace I worked at SIA for a few years in the paging office, then transfered to Ground Transportation. I enjoyed the time with the city, and miss it sometimes. I would love to hear from my ex-co-workers. Then Navy-next paragraph down under Military. Then I was a veterinarian technician for a year in Toms River NJ, then to Grennwood SC for 7 years to be a welder for Goodrich, then to Charlotet for full time school (received an associates degree in culinary arts- and I do not care for cooking), then in that field for 1 year-pay and hours suck, and now I am in sales at TW Metals in Charlotte NC. Military 4 years on the USS Shenandoah as a shipfitter in 11A. Traveled all over, made some good friends, drank some good beer, saw some beauftiful sights. I do not regret any time I spent in the service.
