Liz's Story
Hi,
I am married to my Mr. Right, but I kept my last name. I am a pediatric physical Therapist, right now working for Albuquerque Public Schools. I love my job--to the outside observer it looks like all I do all day is play with kids. I have 2 sons, Travis is 21 and a Sr. at UNM majoring in political science and Spanish. He is planning to go to law school. My second son Eric, is 18 and has autism. His autism has pretty much directed my interests. serve on several other boards about disabilities and physical therapy. I love being involved in the whole disability arena. It has made me very political, including 5 trips to DC to meet with legislators and lots of time at the Capitol in NM. I loved my time and friends in Crownpoint. A few years back, I tried to play basketball in a "mature" women's league, although I was a few years too young, they let me practice. I had a ball until my knees said no more. Now I am waiting for a knee replacement, maybe then I can try again.
My Dad died in 2002, but my Mom and the rest of the family are all doing well
