Lloyd's Story
Life
Although my singing voice has improved a great deal since 1984, my guitar playing has only grown a little. I still enjoy getting together with my friends and performing to live crowds.
My choice to go to Arizona for trade school in mechanical design and drafting has proven to be a good one. I do wish I had studied harder and went to a traditional college. After all this time, I still dream of going back to school.
I met a woman upon my return to California and we married and had one son together. We were married for 9 years, but then seperated and eventually divorced. I have been single for over five years now.
In 1995 we moved to Atwater, which is about 130 miles south of Sacramento. My son and I moved back to the Sacramento area in November of 2003 to Loomis and we are settling in nicely now. It's just the two of us we have a pretty active lifestyle.
My son is fifteen now and attends Del Oro High School in Loomis. He plays bass guitar and plans to have a band of his own, once he masters a few more songs. He also enjoys football and baseball.
As for my career, after 20 years of design work, ...Expand for more
I have had the fortune of working with some of the most innovative companies in California and across the country. I am a project manager and designer and I really enjoy what I do.
I still play guitar, sing and play a little keyboards. My wish is to turn this design career and my love for music into a good business. Still working on the details.
I have kept in touch with many of our friends from High School. I hope this membership will help me reconnect with more of you.
I own golf clubs, but I will not claim to be a golfer. If anybody wants to get a round together, I would love to do that. Now that I am back in the local area it might be easier than some of the trips I made from Atwater.
The best news is that I met a woman 2-1/2 years ago, named Regina. She lives outside of Chicago, IL. We are now married. I moved to Illinois to join her and her two sons.
We got married Nov. 2008. Things have been great. We are very happy.
Our son, Lloyd Brown IV, has joined the U.S. Marines and graduated Jan. 23, 2009 from Basic Training in San Diego.
Look forward to hearing from all of you.
Have fun.
Lloyd
