Lloyd's Story
Life
After high school I went into the Army and served as a paratrooper for fourteen years. Most of my overseas time was in Egypt and Israel but I also served as an instructor at a school in Alaska.
When I got out of the Army I started working in the field of wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. I rescue injured and orphaned wild animals and nurse them back to health then release back to the wild. That led into the field of disaster animal rescues in which I ...Expand for more
work as a consultant to several large groups and government agencies. I got pretty good at it and have actually worked all over the world either directing or assisting others with similar projects. I have worked in South Africa, El Salvador, Chile, Costa Rica, and Sri Lanka. As well as having worked in rescue projects all over the US
I still do all of that but I had to get a real job to pay the bills and so I now work as a firefighter-EMT for Miami-Dade Fire Rescue
