Lloyd's Story
As some of you may know, Betsy Pike and I reconnected in 2005, married in 2009, lived together in Ohio while I worked for the US Air Force (38 years). and when I retired, moved to Connecticut where Betsy's daughter lives. Unfortunately Betsy got cancer and after a long struggle, passed away in April 2019. It was emotionally devastating. I know Ellen Crafferty posted something on Classmates while Betsy was struggling, asked for prayers for Betsy.. my thanks to anyone who prayed for her. Thanks to...Expand for more
Ellen and Bob, and Ruth Boyce (Harris) who attended Betsy's funeral in Basking Ridge and gave me support. It's been a tough couple of years, but I am slowly getting through the grief and learning how to live alone again...with my progressive loss of vision it is a challenge. There's probably a Seeing Eye dog in my future... which will bring me back to Morristown NJ. I currently live in central CT with Betsy's son, Tim, who helps out around the house..
