Lloyd's Story
Long Story as to where I have been and What I have done with my life.
I attended the Lower Naches Grade school and then the Naches Valley High School for all years but my graduation year which after my parents divorce I was forced to attend AC Davis High School until I graduated. I early graduated with my diploma from High School and went into the Marines. I served on active duty in the Marines from 1975 until 1979. I got out of the Marines returned home to Yakima hoping to make a new start. Found out how much things had changed and sense there were very few for veterans in those days a few months later I joined the US Army and Served on Active duty from 1979 until 1990. I was discharged for combat wounds received in the line of duty in 1990 and In 2001 I finally finished my Federal Law Enforcement career making it to Station Commander (Chief of Police) in Devens, MA. I'm married and have been for 28 years now, we have two daughters the oldest is Shannon and the youngest is Sarah who are now grown and gone. Shannon lives in Virginia and Sarah lives in Wisconsin. world with my wife and children as the girls grew up and loved every minute of the adventure. I retired from police work and entered engineering and I still work for the Government and currently an Environmental (Haz-Mat) Technician/Inspector in California. I hold two associates degrees one in Criminal justice the other in Behavioral Science. I still love to fish and get out as much as possible. I spend as much time as possible on the gun range doing long range precision shooting in both small bore and large bore rifle ( love the challenge of hitting small things a long way off) and I also shoot combat handgun. I still hunt from time to time; however, I no longer have the urge to kill anything so hunting is not a high priority for me. Anyone who would meet me today would not recognize me from the battered and abused little boy that never fit and everyone made fun of and picked on when I was in School way back in the 1960's until 1975. I would like to talk to any of the Naches High School students who remember me to catch up on whats going on who is stiill alive and who we lost along the way.
