Life
Well....
After a crazy start to life I spent a year at Clark Community college and a year at Radio Shack, then moved to Alabama to start my career. Now after just shy of 20 years in Emergency Services, I am currently a police dispatcher at a great police department. One of the safest cities in America. I could say it is because of my service there, but it was before I started. Helena Alabama is growing like a weed and Shelby county is in the top growing counties in Alabama.
My over-all life plans are to stay in law enforcement and plans are to go into homeland security.
I am completely devoted to keeping the memories of 9/11 alive as seen in a submitted picture. I have a wall in the living room that is dedicated to 9/11,FDNY,NYPD and the 23 other agencies directly involved in 9/11. I have met some great people in New York, and have some very nice letters from fellow dispatchers in and around the eastern U.S.
My wife and I have been on three cruises and have the fourth one planned for 2005. The caribbean is a great place to cruise and to dive. St Thomas,USVI, is one of my favorites. Being on a cruise ship is so much fun. If you haven't experienced it, you are definitely missing out. And you can always fin...Expand for more

Workplace
As stated in my life biography, I moved to Alabama and started in Emergency Services. I worked at a fire/rescue dept. I never got into going into burning buildings, so I elected to work more on the rescue. I recieved my medics and worked on an ambulance for a short time (about 4 years), and worked in the local hospital in open heart recovery room. That was a blast.I will do that again and again.
I leaned so much about the body and the heart those years. I got to see new inventions in cardiac pumps that used to sit on a cart while hooked to the patient. Now they impant the artifitial pump...WOW
Not really knowing what side I wanted to choose, I always left an open door between the rescue/ambulance and the hospital working part time/full time and v.s.
After I got married, I went to work with a 911 center and left the hospital, but continued to work in the field. After 5 years at 911 I went to Helena Police department where, after the conversation with our new chief, It will be a great career.
