Hello!
After working for the same company (Paychex) for 8 years in the Riverside/San Bernardino area, I requested and received a transfer to Sacramento in 2002. My three sons (Logan, Bryce, & Devin) and I live in Ione, CA, a small town southeast of Sacramento. Raising three teenage boys alone is no picnic, but life sure does stay interesting! My daughter (Kristi), son-in-law (Sean), and new grandson (Ryan, born in August 2005) live about 2 hours away in San Jose. Mom is living her dream with an ocean view along the northern California coast while my Dad and brother own a custom motorcycle shop in Cottonwood. aredo, TX so with everyone being such a distance away, the boys and I do a lot of traveling.
Writing poetry is something I've done for years and I can finally say I've had some published. Crocheting, knitting, embrodiery, and making jams & jellies have won me ribbons at the L.A. County Fair and several others over the years and I usually have some project or another waiting for when I finish the current one. The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary is another of my "spare time" activities and I'm a Past President of the Unit in Hemet, CA where we used to live.
Work, family, and friends are my life now and I can honestly say I'm happier now than I'd been in years.
