Lois's Story

I still live in Greeneville. I am married to Tony and have a beautiful daughter and grandaughter. I also have five step-grandchildren. All five are adorable. I am employed by the State of Tennessee as a Case Manger for individuals with Developmental Disabilities. I have more than 30 years of experience in this field. I love my job and enjoy making their lifes more like ours. Each day is a new day and experience with them. They are all part of my family and I love each and everyone of them dearly. I was married during High School and moved to Fort Jackson S.C. then to Columbia S.C., onto Fort Benning GA. I went to Hawaii for R&R and would love to go back some day soon. My closest friend Barbara Autry passed away two years ago with cancer. I don't know if a lot of you remember her but she was a dear person and friend. We met in the 7th grade and remained friends until she passed. I am looking forward to retirement hopefully in January 2013. I always wanted to be a lawyer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a crazy idea. As it turns out, they were right. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have tea, cigarettes , and cell phone to be able to deal with the day-to-day. I hope friends remember me by actions, stubborn, out spoken, and giving to others When I want to blow off steam I talk about it and if I can't ,I go shopping. The wildest thing I ever did in school was got ca...Expand for more
ught standing on the head of the bed in the First Aid room looking for my boyfriend. I would really like to see Suzzette Remondet. I haven't seen her since I moved from Fort Benning GA. which was 39 yrs. ago. I would like to see Fred Zorrels, he was the best!!!! If I won $100 million, I'd give to my daughter and grand daughters, then spend the rest on a house at the beach for Tony and myself, and pay for him to try out for proffesional golf, then my siblings and St. Judes Hospital. My first crush is still around. I still see him with his mother at Wal-Mart. LOL My best friend would tell you I'm a lot of fun, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as stuck up.. I still like flirty skirts, shoes, and purses. I will never forget the job I had for Pennington's blouse factory in Colimbia S.C. trying to sew. I tore up every sewing machine they had. In 10 years, I hope to be living in Myrtle Beach S.C. . I'm going to get there by selling my house.. Barbara Autry was my best friend in the world. We were so different in our ways but we both did foolish things but always had a great time. My first job was at Cental Drug Store, where I got paid .75 to 1.00 an hour . What I remember most about it is I got to buy all my make up there with a discount. When I was in the 7th grade my mother told me she was going to have another baby. I packed my clothes and was going to run away.
