Hi Everyone, All my old friends, I miss you! I grew up mostly in Mount Vernon, New York, though we had a summer-home in Ridgefield, CT, where I had wonderful summers in our home on the lake, with lots of swimming and boating. Mount Vernon was also where my mother and most cousins grew up & we were a very close family, so I was very unhappy when my family moved away in my teens, even if it was not too far away. I actually refused to move but in the end, had no choice. So I still kind of identify myself as being with the people who graduated with in the 1963 Mt Vernon HS class, though I regretfully never could go to any of those alumni reunions. I wanted so much to see my old classmates and also find out how their lives were going. Besides this, we moved a few more times in my late teens, so my roots were and still are, mainly Mt Vernon, even though I really liked the CT countryside better than being close to NYC, I missed my classmates. In my late teens, I went to take a tour of Europe (with also the plan to study further there), which is how I ended up living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. That was a wonde...Expand for more
