Lois's Story

Lois was originally from New York City, moving to Inglewood, California for Junior High and then Inglewood High School. She later attended California State University, Long Beach (BA Speech Communications). After homeschooling her 4 now-adult children, she went back and completed her MA in TESOL at CSU Stanislaus, taught ESL and English at her local community college, and lived 5 years in Jerusalem, Israel, having the time of her life being with her sweetheart of over 40 years and studying at University of the Holy Land......Expand for more
lots of archaeology: Historical Geography of Israel & Jordan; Land, Nature & Society, Biblical Hebrew & Greek, Minor Prophets, Johanine books, Synoptic Gospels, etc. We love the Land of the Bible, the people who live here, the culture and all its complexities. Teaching ESL in Jerusalem was a wonderful adventure with students from all over the world, and yes, we did feel safe there. We are back in California but treasure every trip we still have been able to take back in Israel. Music Lois likes includes Oldies, praise music.
